Despite my best attempt at avoiding the meet by leaving an interior light on for 4 days and only finding out the battery was flat at 6pm, I made it there and I'm glad I did :) Nice to see a lot of well modded cars and not a washer LED or neon in sight ;) Had a good chat with Fat Bob and the guy mapping his own Celica as well, nice to speak to you!

great meet, i havent seen so many "proper" cars in one place since JAE :)

oh, there was one car there with neonz, but that was the big dodge ram, so i guess its excused on the grounds of not being a performance car, or even a car!

the guy with the laptop plugged into his celica was tony, very impressive setup. great sounding revlimit/launch control too. was that too loud? sorry if it was...ive just spoken to alex with the other celica and told him there's a "namecheck" for him in the forum, i think he'll be rather embarrassed when he sees that

The guy with the Dodge is max1 (Mark Mosely) who owns one of the countries quickest Skylines and a 300zx with over 500bhp and another R32 just for running around in, so to be honest, if he wants neons- he can have them in my book :)

I hope Alex is embarrassed. I was. I had to defend the actions of people that should know a lot better. There we are. All water under the bridge.

Nice to meet you and Nik

- Big thanks for "tow" home (so to speak) - definitely time for a headlight upgrade methinks.
