yes i have AA breakdown cover you really think they would drop it off at APT tho? haha

only thing with borrowing a trailor is i have nothing to tow it with.

car has got de-cat

engine still runs but not smoothly just revs a bit rough sounds exactly like timing is out as my mazda timing went well out and sounded the same.

what is CAS? cam agle sensor?......thats a complete guess by the way

Crank angle sensor

Yes the AA will drop the car off there as Gary is a VAT registered business. I can tow you if you have a trailer, mines still a couple of weeks away, but I'm as busy as hell and will be for a while. So if you cannot get there yourself or via the AA, then I can help (as long as you don't mind waiting)

I work for green flag and i know you have got to be 1 miles from home for a recovery or you will have to pay for the extra miles. I would drive or push it down the road and then ring them up, if it's AA then it would probably be TEARS recovery from Kings Lynn. But whoever picks it up make sure you are there because the front bumber might hit the slide bed ( ask dan  i've picked his up 4 times) if i can help i will  and good luck

From sounds of it you have a slipped tooth then mate, I am no expert on the RB's but you seem VERY lucky you have not touched a valve when it slipped, my guess is that if you slip another tooth then it will touch so dont even start it up.

If I was back i would have towed you down the road to call the AA.

Why?

Several people have told you to wait. Gary's asked you to talk to him before you move it as well. John, you post on here, basically asking for help/advice and don't seem inclined to take it...........

Just my thoughts as it would be such a shame for your next post to be 'I've killed the engine'. Surely someone can give you a hand?
