200SX diff' rad and pipework

Post by NikWilson »

Found this today, forgot I had it! Was going to use it to cool the rear diff on my GTR. Could be used to cool the main box or transfer box. It will need the electrcal pump - from a scrapped 200SX S13 or buy one of the new ones below. Pump bracket included.

Very interested in this Nik.

When i next call round i will have a good look over it.

In peoples opinion is it more important to cool the gearbox or transfer box first?

Thanks.
I would need your guidance on the complete set up of this, such as how the pump is activated, what fittings would be needed to plumb it all in etc.

If you call Faye at Speedflow in Bristol, she should have a list of all the fitting used per cooling item. If not, I can tell you anyway.

The fittings and heat activated switches all came from Speedflow. The thermatic switches are set to 80'C and used via the +ve feed NOT the -ve (the pump bodies are earthed).

You will need 1 relay per pump or what I did was to use a caravan split charge relay supplied by Firstline in Dereham. You then get 2 relays for the 2 gear boxes plus all the wire you need!
