you can get a rotax max upto 60mph in a small space of tarmac you just need balls :twisted: but i'd tend to try and take it to a track somewhere, we had our kart outside the house and it just used to pee people off a bit as there a bit loud :lol:
No can do sdminus.. Especially with the new laws with regards to uninsured motor vehicles on the road (can now be siezed and crushed)! They're doing the same for mini motos!!
You need to be on private property. Industrial estates and shop car parks are not private.
I ran my mini moto on a closed industrial estate once and got bollocked by the law so its not worth it mate.
Take it up Pickenham for an open track day.
Can you really get points on your licence for being drunk on a bicycle!?
Bladey has probably got to be the worst person in the UK to comment on laws on the highway and mentioning the word 'kart' must have had the big fella salivating. I'm too much of a gentleman to recall a particular trip a while ago......I could even mention the phrase 'Police entrapment' but normally that's when the Police stitch you up~ this was different :lol: ( A lot less dodgy than it sounds, bloody funny though :thumb: )
Back on topic, I would stress that running the kart anywhere near the public domain is very likely to get you nicked, but you probably knew that, hence the title of your thread. I don't see any reason why you can't book somewhere like Pickenham and join one of their practice days or sprint things. They only charge
[quote="Bladerider"]Sorry boss !!
I would point out that we did not get arrested though, so I must have done something right !!! ] Evasion was what you did right.........still makes me smile....high speed hide and seek.
