Hi I have been looking into purchasing a Ralliart chip, along with an Afc neo to tune out the richness at part throttle. I will be running at 1.2 bar. I dont think i'm going to go over that while running the chip. Doe's anybody have any knowledge on the chip. I have done my research but have never spoken to anybody who has actually used one.
This is through S-Tec an autherised dealer he will install and mapp the program.
The guy dosent seem too acurate on his knowledge on 4G63, so any advise would be appreciated.

In general terms,
I'd rather deep fry and eat my own testicles with a goodly shaking of salt and vinegar than rely on a "chip tuning" solution on any modern turbo charged engine, especially one that will end up with a 300bhp+ result.
I know Jez Horsham and the SXOC boys have great results with their stuff, and I know you can reflash diesel cars and most modern stuff with a Superchip (hell I have even had a couple of cars with this done). But I would not do it on a 4G63, SR20, RB26, 2JZ or any other engine thats worth looking after. Save up a few more pennies, buy a fuel controller like an SAFC or better yet an ECU like a PFC or F-Con and get the job done properly with a map to suit the rest of your mods.

Hi
I would not recomend the Ralliart ECU.It does not involve any mapping, its literally, swap the card over, disconnect the battery for 30 minutes and go.It really is a waste of time, especially for the money. We have found that customers that install the Ralliart ECU generally only have it for a few months, they add a few more upgrades and then require a mappable unit.As J said, you would best saving the pennies and waiting for a standalone. We use Autronics and Motec, either of these systems would give you a far superior gain, enhanced safety ands reliability and much more prospect for the future.
If you have any questions or queries at all, please do not hesitate to give me a call, I will run through any grey areas that you may have with the Ralliart ECU, or either of the above.
Hope this helps.
Lloyd

I say it because it is the "correct" solution !!
I agree that Jez's 200SX chips work, Abbey ECU's work, and I dare say Ralliart ECU's work too. They use the simple formula that....
Exhaust+filter+XXX amount of boost = YYY amount of fueling.
As well as this, most modern ECU's have the ability to "learn" and adjust to differing conditions like fuel, throttle use and temperature for example.
But the "correct" solution is a repragrammable management system that actually gets set up on a dyno, on your car, with your mods, taking all other parameters into account. The big downside is its expensive.
Thats all i meant - personally i would not have a chip/flash/fixed ecu in any car of mine I expected to get more than 100bhp/litre from.

Well if you are running a low boost set up and do not wish to map the Ralliart ECuUis a plug and play option.
I am unsure of early 1-3 Evo aplication as i have a 6 TME i belive it is not avalable for 1-3 not sure tho!
Whilst some will tell you to spend over 1K on a mapped set up at 1.2 bar you really do not need it it is compleate overkill.
Should you use a RA ECU and want to upgrade later you will never be short of mate waiting for one i have 3 waiting for mine if i upgrade LOL
Be cautious of running hight boost on an Evo 3 as they have a hight comp ratio and a melt down will follow on from overboost.
Benny on here has some early Evo advise and is 1-3 secatery for the MLR so i am sure can help you out.
Controled fueling is a problem on early cars Gizzmo chips often used suffer this fuel regulator helps.
Llyod as for it being a waste of time?
When you have owned an Evo of your own run the set up i have on a daily basis you will know that less than
