Glad you are happy Ben, I'm pleased with the way it turned out also :)

As you say pics really don't do it justice, why oh why does it have to be dark early, some sun light would really have shown the car off, you'll just have to be late into work or leave early :p

No worries Duncan I have some energy left, just need to remember to get up wiith the alarm :)

Anyway here are the pics I took, again lack of light didn't help.

Very nice Ben :thumb: well done Gary, more fine work mate.

(Can't believe Ben's got his tripod out for one of the first pictures  )

Your only problem now Ben is how to keep it that clean.

And you're calling him wierd? :isgay: Back on topic.......... on looking again, that colour appears to be far more responsive to the treatment than mine was. I presume the red reflects more light than grey and therefore looks 'better' or more wet looking. What treatments did you go for Ben? Zymol by any chance? Did Gary get you to apply any by hand? The most amazing experience and bizarrely quite enjoyable.

Yes red is more responsive then grey, good for Ben bad for you, sorry Stu.

No Zymol on this car, as Ben had won a free upgrade he went for machine polish rather than Wax (OK I didn't offer him the wax upgrade as he already said he wanted machine polish) so went for Chemical Guy's 50/50 wax.

Duncan may if he's nice get to experience hand waxing though tomorrow ;)

You boys, the cover went straight on the minute it was finished!! - it has come up so well.

Stu, I was only using the tripod as I was trying to get the pics without the flash!.

Lol Stu,

I think the main difference between us 'weekend polishers' and Gary is that its not just the bodywork that comes up magnificently its all the other bits such as the trims, arch liners, window rubbers etc etc

These are details that can really make the car stand out.

The 'glasslike' finish of the bodywork obviously is the main point.

Good on you again Gary, very shocked to hear Ben wasnt helping !!!!

I was doing more DIY that's why I didn't get in the way - Fitting new coat hanging rails in my coat cupboard, a new door knocker and a few other little jobs.

Plus making gary Coffee white with every hour or so !! ...
