I bought mine from Nigel on skyline owners. He imported it, but by the time it arrived, he had sold his GTT. It is an unknown make with no markings on it and Nigel couldn't tell me where it came from
Still for only

Cheers for the replies on this one.
Cant help thinking that the TI is a bit overkill for my needs, its only from the cat back, which isnt very much on a Rex. If you have seen the cat you'd know why...its huge and weighs a ton (not literally).
Will try for a secondhand stainless one first and if not see what I can get.
Hopefully if I order it tomorrow it will come tue or wed and I can have it fitted before the meet.
The noisy airpump is driving me nuts lol

Good luck with the search Gareth :-D
I don't even know what make mine is as there are no markings on it :? ..........I think mine sounds similar to Bens on idle so it's probably a 'muffler' type one. I always wanted it changed to something like Stu's because his car shakes the ground when you are near it  but have grown to like it and am quite happy with it now 8) ...........if I want noise now I just take it above 5500rpm and let the screamer do the rest....best of both worlds

keeping it on topic: im sure there is a threshold where the quieter your exhaust is, the more restrictive it is? speaking personally, my 2.25" stainless exhaust is fairly quiet but does have an awesome raspy roar when my car goes on boost. im now at the stage where the exhaust system is restricting flow at the top end of the rev range.
generally speaking the larger bore the lower the exhaust tone.
have you thought about making your own? dunno if that applies to you, if youre any good with a welder. weve got an ally welder at work and im just researching* if its possible to weld titanium with the same kit!

Mate,
Will be interested to see how the HKS lasts - when I was researching mine I was warned that (for Super Dragers anyway) as only the can is stainless (the rest is aluminised mild steel) they don't stand up to the RX's high exhaust temps very well.
Sure it'll be ok til next year though
Cheers,
Alex
