The white and green Viper is doing some serious laps! No sign of our intrepid MADDOGG yet.............I think he's in a E36 BM coupe.

I am back now  but looking on the bright side, going out there again in 4 weeks

Here we go then, arrived at Rent Racecar and met all the guys, having a coffee and Theo turns up ( owner ) looking very, very p*ssed off, he had just seen his BMW 2.5i crash at Breidscheid (the car I was hiring) and his M3 crash at Hole Acht driven by some Italians.Theo was leading the guys through the barrier he told them to follow him as it was their first time at "The Ring" in one ear and out the other, they flew past him thinking they new what they were doing, to cut it sort, they did not only run out of road, but also run out of talent, which cost them dearly, 5,000 euros each :o
So no track for me this weekend  on the bright side, the Golf is looking very good it should be fixed in two weeks, we will give it a little test in four weeks time :-D

nightmare :o

Cant believe people would do that first lap, but I guess there are all kinds and those that have played it on GT4 think it is the same.... big and nasty suprises are in store when they realise that it is not even very close !

I know someone that is renting that 325 next week - hope it is fixable quickly

4 weeks..... hmmm :-k

Dunc, we are flying from Stansted on Friday 24th Nov arriving 9.30 am. The Ring is open all weekend :-D

Let me know if you fancy it :-D

PS Dunc, I had no luck with the carbon spoiler as it would have cost me double the price of the one on the group buy section

regards "MADDOG" :-D

Do you mind elaborating on the trip?
Did you get to do any laps? Seems like it must been a hell of a letdown if you couldn't drive whilst there..........

Stu, this trip was originally planned for two reasons, one just to pick up all my wheels / tyres tools etc as I did not want to leave them there over the winter, and secondly to see how they were getting on with the repairs to my sons track prepped Golf. As you know, you cannot go all the way over there and not drive "The Ring" that is why I spoke to Theo at R / Racecar and booked a car for the Sunday, but after the crashes on Saturday which took two of his cars out, the only option I had was to do some karting at Schumacher
