That and a proportionally higher disposable income and greater choice as a consumer, IMHO.

It is cheaper in Japan. For us English the parts are a lot cheaper, but however they are not as cheap as the states. I think that's what hybrid dreams meant. He's american so i guess it doesnt seem cheaper for him. Unfortunatly the states do not cater for all our jap needs.
It also depends where you go also and what your looking for. for example someone asked me to look out for a Nardi classic steering wheel. I found some in a store, but shipped would have cost him 150pounds. But i later found some in a second hand race shop for 50 dollars.

Great vid and pics tara, they like the rb26 and skylines there then :D awesome cars, i take it that's 1/8 strip looks far too small to be quater mile forgive me if i've missed something :D don't think 1/8 is a favoured strip for a rwd so not surprised the supras and the like rwd guys stayed away i'd say definatly a 4wd run fav don't get me wrong there are some supras that cut 0-60ft time of 1.3 and lower dee ireland is one but best leave that to the 4wd guys.

Loved the vid - especially the old Z - wasn't that quick compared to the 32s - just love the looks 8)
