Once a session expiry has kicked in it is a PITA looking through all the forums for missed posts.

or have the 'Posts since' value default to 24hours previous - two birds and all that :)

I use the 'posts since last visit' link at the top right on the main forum page - is that not the same thing?

No what they mean is - show all posts in the last 24 hours - so for example - and quite bizarrely as I read this post earlier my machine locked up - when I got back in it showed no new messages - so I don't know which posts I had and hadn't read.

dunc, make it so you can type in a month/date combo and then display all posts from that timestamp to current.

really useful feature :)

im sure you can do it!

have put in a simple drop down box to search posts over a set time period

hope that is okay.

also added a simple link to the portal body below the new posts link on the right hand side, to search for posts in last 24 hours.
