I supose the Japanese will always be one step ahead of us in the power stakes due to the parts all coming from there and cheaper.

Thanks Tara!

Some wonderful pictures. RB26 transplants seem to be a bit popular  Where was the meet held? The event looks very relaxed, a bit like our one at Honington but without the quick cars

It was at nago circuit. There is a big company out here you may have heard of them called C&Y sports. They specialize in crazy transplants and they love their RB26's also they have a really nice shop with the cars on show but all the cars run and have JCI's (kinda MOT) so they are street legal.
It was a nice event Nago circuit is up a mountain, so its really out of the way. it was a really nice day i have a lovely sun tan.

there is three 8 second cars (that we know of) there and a but load of 9 and 10 second cars... from what I am told two of the R32 GTRs that day are in excess of 1200+ bhp. Aparantly they are only a few ticks off the HKS slyline. :o

it definately aint much cheaper I dont think....I think its the japanese devotion to perfectionism that gets them where they are at. truly something impressive.
