Apparently ssautochrome are prone for blowing turbo's fast and cracking manifolds. But some people say some new products are re-designed and fairly deacent

P Trim

Post by slaphead »

excuse my ignorance here boxy but what is p trim?

Thanks for your feedback guys (& turbo snatch)

I had my suspicions when I saw the price - hence my starting the thread, having now spent an hour or so reading the feedback on eBay - it would appear that their tubbies are either bad eoms or very intermittent quality recons - the comments on the standard of welding reveal either it is very good or absolutely terrible - again very variable quality - more disturbing however was the consistent gripes concerning cracked manifolds - this all seems to support the old adage of "you get what you pay for"!

Cheers

The P trim is a T404e 400bhp+ roller bearing turbo I am selling for the Skyline R33 Gtst. It is a direct replacement to the standard turbo with no modification.

Cheers boxy - the mists have cleared now  - not quite hefty enough for a GTR then (sadly) compared to the gt45
