The mapping was complete, but with a new exhaust going on (which is a different diameter) and sorting out the induction (something else that wasn't dealt with very well back during the first engine revuild in Norwich) best to get it all mapped again.
They've been brilliant at scooby clinic and I can't thank them enough, no idea what the final bill is going to be but I suspect I'd best be sat down when I read it!
Must admit I was chuffed to see it nearly roadworthy again, have even been playing with my Impreza die casts tongiht!

Getting there Dunc, been getting through to them today but as usual they're really busy! Adam has promised ot get back to me today to let me know the state of play.
New wheels are not in stock with the company I got them from in the first place, they've placed an order but are apprantly expected in about 8 weeks!
Old wheels can go on though if thats the only hold up. I'm hoping I'll get it back Saturday, but I really don't know, because I had hoped that for last Saturday...
Fingers crossed

And I was lucky enough to drive it today!
8) :-D
Only on low boost, to go and get some V-power whilst Michael was having his briefing, but definitely enough to get a taster for what an awesome piece of kit it is now.
Only thought I'd ever want my classic scoob, but I could see myself in a bugeye after this morning (provided I still had "my" car as well!
 )
Thanks for the drive Michael!

I went easy mate, honest!
Could not have lived with myself if I'd hit the NOS switch by accident and stuffed the car into the one in front!
