RWYB 15th October Review

Sorry to hear about the dissapointing day.
I have thought santa pod has been going downhill like this for a while now, I went to the first RWYB of this year and it was worse than this, they only opened the track at 3.00pm and you only got one run for the whole day!
I think Shakespear County Raceway is a much better place to go now after being to both places.
Is more of a journey but the queus are shorter and the track is just as well prepared.

At least I busted my drag cherry :oops: 13.85 @ 104.37 leaves me plenty of room for inprovement :lol:

I ran a 12.01 a couple of years ago with the same spec as you plus a O/S Gilken twin plate clutch. Then :evil: with a 100 shot of NOS i was down to mid 11s best not to get the drag bug :roll:

nice times people. as far as santa pod being crap...well I heard that Shakespeare is a much better track and much more organized. might not be a bad idea to look into it.

I did a 17sec at 85 mph, I wasn't a happy bunny.

I then let the tyres down from 21 psi to 14 psi and did a 14.4 @ 109.7 was a little happier, this wasn't a perfect run, but that's what makes getting fast times so challenging and draws you back

2.7 sec 60 foot time.............do i win the prize

nice trap speed. Easy a 12 second car with the right traction and launch.

Excited? Ermm... YES!!!!

Hopefully I'll be able to drive it a bit when I get it back! Not had it on the road an awful lot this year what with the piston the 'dodgy' (and thats being kind!) engine rebuild and the accident :roll:

Will have to make up for it when it comes back! :lol:
