I like the looks of the New GTR,
And I hope to be able to order one new, but I may well not bother if all it coms with is 450bhp/370lb-ft from a turbo'd VQ.
Not really worth it at that point, they really need 550+ to be in with a shout against the next generation Porsches, Mercs and Beemers.

I would agree that for the GTR to be a contender it will need at least 500hp and a similar torque figure. I would have thought with their most recent effort, the Z tune, they will go for that and more though.

Remember that is only the figure Nissan is giving it to come out of the factory with.
The R34 GTR had a quoted 276BHP when it left the factory but when the owners stuck it straight on the RR a lot of them had over 320BHP.
These kind of cars and engines are heavily restricted when they leave the factory, a few tweaks and i think you could see 500BHP easily.
