It will work, but it won't be perfect...
You can adjust the SAFC2 to work with the Z32 AFM, you just need to change the in/out settings (2in, 4out).
The problem is that having changed the injectors and the AFM you're going to have to do a hell of a lot of correction of the SAFC2. You'll be able to get the map safe at the top end, but it's not going to give optimal fueling throughout the map.

keep the MAF sensor and run nitrous
...easy way to get to your power level. with more torque as well

I would'nt run the MAF to its limit. just playing with fire really. You said you had an auto. I guess the powefc may not like the auto box like on the rx7. TBH you need the biger afm like the 300zx maf. vg30 ?
The injectors can not run at full duty cycle. Above 90 odd % the ecu will losse control of them and it will be un predicatble on an afr basis. Also you need to beaware of the ign timing up high. The afr's are just the tip of the ice berg as far as tuning it goes.
You could try and speak to Paul @ engine advantages becasue im sure this problem has come up before.

The ECU just sends a electrical pulse to the injector it cannot loose control of them. I would not run a set past 90% just to stop it running lean, but in this case it would be over fueling anyway. I know a R32 that ran 600 bhp on standard Mafs.sdminus wrote:

Did the 600hp car run the same injectors as you ?
Did it run the same fuel pressure ?
Did it run the same pump ?
Did it run an after market ecu such as the motec ?
Do you know who tuned the 600hp car ?
