Machinists to tap an intercooler
umm, not sure on that duncan.
Your boost guage needs to be taken from the other side of your throttle flap, so unless you tap your plenium chamber(which would work but be a PITA) you should only plan to use it for charge temp.

I have decided to go down a different route for this now with a set of Spa dual gauges. I can then use the boost/temp gauge with a k type probe and adaptor to fire a signal to a relay.
At this stage it will be used for the intercooler water spray but could equally use this to fire Cryogenic cooling or Water Injection should the waterspray not be enough to cool ACT.

Thats a nice idea however you will have 2 possible issues with that mate.
1) Mounting of a k-type
I assume you will just slip this under the boost hose. Thats alright i suppose but personally i dont like it. If you get a small swage fitting with it you'll be better off using that and tapping into the plenum.
2) Water storage.
As you dont have a spec C you, like me have just a 4 litre water tank,, this will empty within 5 minutes of track use IMO. The swap to a 12 litre spec C one would be nice however they dont come cheap.
Last time i tried getting one they were
