Dont get me wrong,
The difference on the Orange of going MAP is amazing - I sooooooooo totally wont ever be getting another jap car tuned without running AFM-less ECU.
I guess its very close as to which costs more, its just I was thinking a 2nd hand one off the Register from someone trustworthy would be around
What would you buy?

OK my thoughts for your 4 grand tune up;
HKS GTSS turbo's
Exhaust elbows
Intercooler hard pipe kit (do you already have this?)
Apexi PFC D-Jetro
Splitfire coil packs
N1 oil pump
N1 water pump
660cc injectors (stock rail is fine)
Nismo FPR
Driftworks oil cooler (seems a good kit for the price)
ARP head studs
Have probably gone over budget but that is a nice set up.

Power FC D jetro (agree with bladerider here)
injectors
upgraded twins (bored out compressor housings with new garret compressors or similar) (also in agreement in keeping the twins)
or I guess could go with a large single and manifold if u wanted
and tune tune tune.
Arent the GTR fuel pumps good for around 500-600 bhP?? (please someone correct me if I am wrong)
I dont know a whole lot about Nissans so forgive me if missed something or was inaccurate on some. more of a mitsu guy.

Fuel pumps, if new, probably are but for the sake of a few quid and better fuel pressure I would spend a few quid on one. I learned last week that modified turbos off of a GTI-R are the way forwards for great spooling and plenty of puff for 600+ bhp.

Shop around and go for second hand bits if it is viable
