Agreed - any plans for serious stuff with it or is it another Macdonalds cruiser?

of course it will be used on the track once the new engine is in it is pointless now lol

like bazza said there is no point in doing the work if your not going to use it :) i have had many a car nothing special but most of the had a visit to santa pod and i am wanting to get in to track days as well but may i ask this 1 question

why does every 1 keep mentioning chavs and mcdonald cruisers about tengoku??

i love my car to bits and i think it looks great so when i do track it i will have seperate bumpers so they dont get ruined then they can go back on to enter show and shine comps so then i get the best of both worlds :D

i know i dont have a big skyline or scooby but i am still a keen car modder and not 1 that just pays some 1 to do it for me i do it my self cus i enjoy it and i feel proud of what i have accoplished that must count for some thing :D

just my thoughts cheers kev

Nice wee wagon you have there - the Macdoughnuts thing is a leg pull - so pay no attention :-D - good thinking on the bumper front - something well worth considering as I only recently had mine repainted and I do not fancy pebble dashing it

To draw a line under this little bit of banter....

The reason there are comments being made about cruisers and McDonalds is largely tongue in cheek. Your website had an enormous amount of bad press on other sites due to 'that' video surfacing on the net and soon became a benchmark for things to avoid copying.

I have explained the thinking behind this site and its likely users. If you and anyone else, regardless of their previous forum use, are happy to join our way of thinking, magic. If your contributions are limited to the sorts of things that we have outlined a disliking too, then we will obviously have problems. The main thing I feel protective about is that I've tried to create (with the help of others) a sanctuary for adults who like to drive their cars hard and responsibly. This safe haven will be threatened by those who either don't understand the rules or do not even care to acknowledge them.

Hopefully that brings the whole thing to an end. The jokes were not to be taken seriously, think of them more as an indication of our intent and policies.

Like minded people are more than welcome. Have a read through the various 'announcement' threads to get a feel for the site and its ethos. We will be different from a lot of other sites. That brings advantages and disadvantages I guess.

Cheers
