vibration
vibration
Just picked up a vitara for the missus to stop having the dog in my car. On the way home I noticed that between 50-60mph I get vibration through the wheels and then it goes away. Now being sought of car mechanically minded I thought possibly wheel bearings were at fault. So I jacked the car up 1 wheel at a time and gave them a shake at the 12 oclock and quarter to three position and no movement was felt. That rules out the bearings then. Now I`m thinking either the wheels aren`t balanced properly or the driveshafts are fubarred! can anyone sugest a way of proving the driveshaft without taking it all to bits? Cheers
