Now this is all quite funny - especially as I'm trying to sell my XM177 Carbine at the moment - basically it's the stubby M16.

I sold my M16A1 today so I'm 600 better off - hurrah.

The XM177 is a 1:1 scale replica made by Marushin - but is absolutely identical to the real one as in it's built from basically the same parts !!! ... it does not fire anything - only caps!.

Offers around 200 .... it's the third one down ..

Arms Dealer yes....Posh...no lol

Have seen some of the footage from the vids (other shows, not the one just gone) and it looks pretty good, quite authentic.

There just is something cool about running round with a gun !!

Big Power Megazone evening anyone ?!!!!?

Sorry for the hijack mate, look forward to hearing about it tomorrow.

Would rather have a M16 than a SA80. They fell futuristic in comparison.

I have to agree - even the old M16A1 is still an excellent weopon - light and an amazing rate of fire ... the modern M4 is just the daddy.

A couple of photoshops I did from the weekend ...

I joined the Army when I was 17 - Was going to be an Electronic Apprentice Technician within the Royal Corp of Signals.

Went through all the medicals etc was about to sign up and decided - to go to college instead. I do regret not going in .. think it would have been ace.

My hobby is something I've always had as long as I can remember. I've been collecting since I was about 11.

But I've always specialised in the Vietnam period
