Mine comes from when I overtook 6 of the foreigners vans on the way to the place where we all worked. I was a little late (and had just bought a 1.9 gti 205

) and blasted by all 6 vans in one hit and when they got in they said that was the 'madenglishman'

........it then stuck!!
