we use different grades of valvoline in all our engines,

its very good value for money compare to others,comes in loads of grades too

What would you recommend for mine? Engine, gearbox and diffs, don't forget my synchro on 5th is about to leave the building. Any thoughts on Redline HD shockproof?

use 15-40 royal purple....but in a very hot climate

in the UK climate used 10-40 royal purple

ill have to look when i get back to work,as for redline ive never used it i think a few from sxoc do

not sure on your car but i use...75W-90 on all three...gearbox, x-fer case, and rear diff.

From Motul 300 15W-50 to Motul 300 5W-40 - the 15/50 was too thick to provide adequate protection at start up - engine sounds a lot better as well.

Will check for cold start noises in the morning.
