Post by boxy »

Right I know where I can get a down pipe fairly cheap for the Skyline and was wondering how many horses will this give me and whether its worth doing?

Don't know how many horses .. I had Apexi GT downpipes fitted along with the decat and the hks silent and it made one hell of a difference ....

It's got to release some more horse power as it's just another restriction.

I would say you should release between 5-10 brake, but its the spool up you'll notice most (with the noise)

I noticed Spool up was much better, Torque increase as well.

After having bought a downpipe and run it for a while, I went to Power and Performance in Honningham, (Mark) who made a complete bespoke system, two pipes, one from each Turbo all the way to the back.

The workmanship cannot be faulted, the quality of the stainless is superb, and I have to say pretty damn cheap as well :D

And it sounds good as well 8)
