STi 450 2.5

Post by duncan »

Just thought I would start the ball rolling on my project thread.

Been toying this over for a whiel as to what i want to acheive from the car....

As you can guess from the title 450bhp is the ultimate target with as much torque as I can physically get.

Current baseline figures from RR day are:

314bhp
309.50 lb/ft torque

Stuart and I are on the Rolling Road tomorrow so will post current progress..... :D

I will be watching this one very closely indeed. Best of luck Dunk, will be nice to have one of the best Imprezas around on the site. Certainly a good starting point 8)

don't know too much about the block in your scoob but i knew the ej20 needs shed load of money thrown at it to see over 400bhp but i'm guessing it'll be doable in the 2.5 lump, goodluck with it, it'll be a rocket with 450 8) looking forward to seeing how you get on tommorrow too.

bigger turbo is def on the list :)

either a TD06-50 or AFP6-49 both using the TD06 framework and Garrett compressor wheels at 49lb/min airflow. Both should be bolt on (ish) and give full boost from about 3000 rpm onwards on my car :D

Both should be good for 450bhp :smoke:

That will be shocking with 450 ... Are you going to have to uprate the clutch?
