Esther,

If you're driving we'll all get nicked. I've see you drive through Attleborough :o A steady drive will be fine. We make a high profile convoy and therefore caution is advised

i'm conceraned about a convoy over this distance. For those that have never done this caution is to be advised...........
After speaking to Matt today i agree the location is good.

on the first meet i was a bit concearned even though i was riding shot gun with nik when the cars backed up on the dual carrageway.

maybe i worrie to much

Many moons ago, I used to travel from Norwich to Bury St Edmunds on a monthly basis. The convoys always consisted of around 15-20 cars minimum. Obviously we used to have the odd overtaking 'flourish' with cars changing position in the queue, but no-one ever had any issues. In many ways, a longer drive reduced the need for folks to give it the biggun and we all seemed to enjoy settling in for a longer run.

Guys, this forum is not a dictotorial venture with me (or anyone for that matter) barking out instructions. These meets are for all of us to enjoy but without some form of decisions being made, we won't get anywhere. You'd only need to have been involved with the laughable Skylineowners.com meets in the last couple of years to know what I mean. If its wishy washy, it will fail. I'm not going to allow that to happen.

If there are genuine reasons why the logistics of the distance, meet venue etc are unsound, please speak up and be specific. If the concerns are merely that enthusiasm will get the better of us.......what can I say. We're all adults. We need to remember that we're resonsible for each others welfare on the roads as much as we are ourselves. If any car in our convoy has trouble with the feds, we're all in trouble.

Mind if I hook up with you all near Thetford Stu?

Maybe towards the top of the A1088 at Euston
