Morning

Post by Banzai Bob »

Just a quick hello and a thank you to Stuart for the invite :D

Used to have a highly modded Subaru, until a while ago, am now the happy owner of a Skyline GTR. Probably only a baby (380-400bhp and tons of tourque 8) ), but Stuart knows I never leave cars as they are for long

Once I get some pics sorted I'll let you know.

Thanks people

BB

Hiya Mate

You'll have to try and get along to our next meet (details to be confirmed) so I can put a face to BB after all this time :) I've only seen the car on the old website advert as well.

Feel free to use our humble site as a base for your project, I bet you'll be starting soon.

Cheers

Getting to know the car first m8 :D

Then I might start replacing certain stock items 8)

Should go in for a check up and dyno soon, so I can let you know more about the car then

I know for certain it has a Blitz intercooler, hard pipe kit, big straight through exhaust, 18" Work alloys, adjustable Ohlins suspension (still need to confirm that, and if possible get the thing in the air a bit more, Jap roads must be considerably more smooth than Norfolk ones)

I know what you mean about hard rides! Mine has the ride height of a Freelander on the back but it's still rock solid. Where are you going for a dyno run? Just interested as that's one of the events we're looking to organise quite soon.

Not so much the hardness of ride m8, but the previous Jap owner had the car slammed down so low, when I go over one of NCC's dual carriageway speed humps at speed the tyre can rub against the inner wing, getting annoying, the car sitting so low, worried about pot holes and damage :(

Alredy taken the splitter off the front, until I can raise the car up a bit

Going to Clive's. He is local and can look after the car while i'm away all week.

Had the same problem with my Rex, as Ben will tell you, the front splitter was less than an inch off the ground. Used to scuff it on everything plus parking anywhere with speed bumps was a nightmare.

Funny how girlfriends arent very appreciative of our cars when you have to be very careful where to park it and where you go. Found myself planning all journeys before hand !!

Raised it now and no further issues lol

Lol about the girlfriend and route planning

Already scuffed the bottom of the splitter, it's been done now, so just waiting to put it back on :)
