Driver training

Post by Stuart »

I know a couple of race instructors and have broached the subject of specialised instruction covering adverse weather control and driver development. I've organised trackdays in the past with Pauls help but would be happy to try and organise this. Maybe we could coincide this with a trip to Millbrook?

Discuss :)

Yeh i'd be keen to look into this - I've had the opportunity to allow qualified drivers to show me a thing or two in my car - however the thought of letting someone else rag the bejesus out of it puts me off everytime - if it breaks they can go home without a care in the world ... whilst i look for a tow home and how much I can remortgage the house for.

The tuition I refer to is in a trainer car to start with and then they get you out in your own car with them in the passenger seat offering guidance. These guys will be sympathetic to our requirements, don't worry.

I may be able to sort out a day at Lotus. I'll get the details next week.
