Post by duncan »

Are these just studs and reasonably easy to remove a single one?

bugger - just found it in the manual, it is a hub off thing as the studs push through

Can you get to the back of the hub and make enough room to push the stud out from the front?

nope :(

at the very least, it is:
- caliper off
- disc off
- bearing off
- push stud through

Dunc i used a balljoint splitter to push the studs out, if your lucky it may fit in situ.

Good job you found those instructions before trying a stud remover, as you can see.

If the stud's broken, OK but if it's 'stripped' are you sure? The stud thread is a lot tougher than the nut material so it may be it just needs cleaning the nut material out of the threads.

Whatever the cause, if it has stripped, replace the nut as well.
