Gerry...

You're entitled to dissagree with me if you think i am wrong...but FFS mate...don't tell me i'm talking bollox when my opinion is as valid as yours regardless of whether you think it's right or wrong.

If you're that good...offer Suz your expert ear instead and demonstrate to everyone your expertise in these matters, instead of rubbishing my opinion!!

Nice one!! :thumb:

Good reply Francis. I should have used a few smileys but it was early. I'd be happy to help Suz out, if I were nearer, as I'd be happy to help you, should you ever be that desperate.

If i were to ask for your help it wouldn't be out of desperation, but more to do with the fact i value your opinion and expertise :thumb:

WOW !!

Balancing Webers with some garden hose brings back many happy memories !!! Oh and probably a good idea not to have too long hair or hairspray on when you do this ;) :D

Best of luck Suzy !!

How old are the Carbs?

You might want to check the sealing washers on the ends of the butterfly shafts, they have a tendency to leak and cause your mixture to vary.

I think they are made from leather??

It was a long while ago tho, things have probably changed :?

Well I have decided I am admitting defeat, you cannot tune carbs on your driveway!!!!! I'm going to have to go and see an expert.
Have spent evening balancing them and adjusting them correctly but she is still juddering when you drive it. ](*,) I have sorted the idling issue she will now idle happily at about 1000rpm but cannot seem to sort the juddering when driving.

I have no way of knowing if underfuelling, overfuelling, needs new jets, emulsion tubes, whether the regulator works as don't have the tools to test any of this.
I am unsure if she will make the meet on Wednesday (again) although may get her to crawl over there just to show her who's boss. :-D

Anyone who can work a miracle please advice lol :-D
