impreza classic version 6 sti, defis now fitted, but.....

Post by Ian (DaOne) »

hi everyone, 2 things really

1st, on the 52mm link meter gauges, i have a start up mode where the gauges flick about, then go to normal but when i turn of the engine, they just go off.
i read somewhere that there should be a start up and end sequence/mode for them?

and what should the oil pressure be when warm at idle and mornal driving? same for oil temp.

thanks all

Oil pressure depends on the type of oil

I use 10.60 Millers and warm idle is approx 40 psi - normal driving around 90 psi

Oil temp of around 90C

There's no 'end sequence' on my Defis, they just turn off.

Have my oil temp alarm at 120 and pressure at 2.0bar. But that's on my car, you may want yours set differently, depends what yours is normally.

That's similar to mine. Idle drops a bit on track so I leave it at 2bar.
