At full duty cycle the injectors still spend more time closed than open and this is why they will still pulse. The car I speak of was running a RK tuning burnt chip, 550 injectors, standard fuel pump, standard MAFs,step two cams and 2540 turbos. It was running the fueling at maximum.

But is there problems with putting in an injector which is too big?
I mean if you had any doubt then would it be a bad thing to put in 1000cc injectors?
Thanks for that post.

Its good to suit your injectors to do the job in hand. I run mine at 80 %. 90 % max but you can notice the differance. Also with high cycles like 90 % if the temp changes a lot and various other variables you could be in trouble.

The fuel system is one of the most important systems on the car. dont scrimp.

You can get problems controlling big injectors at idle/low RPM some people use two lots of small injectors instead
