OAP,s Electric Buggies

Post by LR6GSR »

Comming into Watton today had to pass two Buggies with the fullcanopy set up trundaling along the road.
How dangerous?? there is a really nice path to hand and they think use the road in a 40 MPH Zone.
Some one in a buggy got run over a year ago near Watton and died.
Fearing for thier saftey i tipped the Police off in Watton, i hope they got home safe and sound
These thing are great for getting around my dad has one but cars they are not.
Any one else come accross an OAP on a Buggy mission :D :D

My good deed for the day i feel and helps keep the roads clearer for us to use LOL

Get one of them along to the arrive and drive day Liam :thumb:

We get loads of buggies/wheelchairs around Attleborough, it's a matter of time before we get a serious accident. Someday someone is gonna get their car scratched or worse still dented after twatting one of these buggers

Stuart i was in the works van so i had not considered the damage to my pride and joy good point.
The Old girl who met her end last year used to walk several dogs for miles using the buggy looked like huskies pulling her. that ended in the worst way.
I could track one not sure about the range double up the batteries and fit a wheely bar to the rear :-D

My money is on the old boy on the right, he looks more focused and has ballast in the front basket to keep the front down on the launch.
