Very sorry to hear this mate, have APT got a trailer they can collect your car on ?

Thats the trouble with these cars, there is always a weak link in the chain and that invariably breaks when you have replaced something, Trust me I have been there mate and know how you feel.

Hope you get it sorted and its nothing serious,

Good luck mate - I hate cars when they are having problems.

Has your car still got a cat?
You said it was flaming badly well i just wondered if it would have blocked the cat or made it collapse as they hate unburnt fuel.

You told me your problems and i straight away though of a jumped tooth, maybe the tensioner pulley has just come loose and let it slip.

DONT DRIVE IT.

Push it on the road and phone the AA and tell them you live at AP Tuning!

Hope you get it sorted soon.

Absolutely - don't drive it. Not worth risking any further damage.

Also - I know most have said a jumped tooth - but also possible that your CAS is loose and has rotated and changed the timing.

Fingers crossed either way, hopefully something simple.

If you've not got cover i'm sure there are people on the site that have trailers etc. Look in the what can you do for me section.

Ben good point about the CAS didnt think of that one but yes it could be that as it would have been took off and could have worked loose.
