Crickey Steve Irwin has died !!!

Post by RX7 »

A real shocker of a story.

Struck by a stingray with the barb piercing his heart whilst filming a documentary.

Very very sad.

it is a shame, but then again to go doing something that you love is always the best way.

I saw one of these when I was snorkelling in Costa Rica... I wondered why the tour bloke told us to get outta the water quickly. Didn't look that threatening!

RIP Steve

I still can't beleive it - yes he was annoying at the best of times - but still very entertaining.

Real shame ... Crikey mate! - 600 posts.

I think Steve knew he had to ham it up to appeal to certain audiences. His passion for animals was never in doubt and his one man mission to prove that 'Crocs rule' gave him the persona lacking in so many. His death will be an enormous loss to TV but the animal kingdom will no doubt breathe a sigh of relief.

His courage should be applauded and I can't help thinking that I would like to be as commited as he is to the things I love. Fair play Steve :thumb: You'll always be remembered as a mad bastard, the best kind.
