To say I'm a little excited about the day, the racing, the records that may be left in tatters, is a gross understatement. This is it, the big one. This is one event I've been waiting for. So while you're sitting there staring into space, bored off of your tits because the inlaws are around, just spare a thought for the thousands of us all over the UK making the effort to go and support the fastest cars in Europe. Cars that can do well over 200mph, cars that can do 30-130 in less than 6 secs, cars that will do the standing quarter mile in nine seconds or less...... spare a thought for those numbers whilst you're chewing on your roast watching the clock tick over until .........BING.........Mondays here and you're back to work
