The Supra was up first. It's recently come back from another workshop and unfortunately the new Nighthawk black paint has taken a hammering! My challenge was to remove as much of the paint damage as possible, enhance the gloss and build some decent protection for the serious abuse it's about to get.
Before's and after's
Heavy scratches where people have leaned across the car as well as loads of swirls caused by someone trying to wipe away workshop dust and dirt

Two stage machine polished finish

More deep scratches, swirls and random nastiness below the tape and glossy, swirl goodness above it

Before NSR arch

After two stage polishing

Once the whole car was polished (by hand or machine, and some parts required multiple hits like the roof) it was protected using a very durable paste sealant. This was applied to all paintwork, carbon and the alloys too. Once this had cured, it was buffed off and the interior, rear of the car and tubular chassis was cleaned and sealed too.

I made a start on both the Escort Cosworth and R35 GTR as well today, & both of them should be finished by this time tomorrow.
Fingers crossed
