Downloading Circuits to a Racelogic Performance Box

Post by Monster »

Does anyone know how you do this?

I had all the circuit files on my laptop before and just put the relevant one onto the SD card before I went to the circuit.

But I've lost them all and actually never downloaded Snett 300 after the rebuild anyway.

I only had a chance to have a quick look on the Racelogic site this eve and didnt actually log in so that may explain it but I couldn't see where you download the circuit data. Or does anyone have the file and can send it to me?

I'd rather do this than set my own start/finish line at snett on thurs - assuming of course the car holds out to use the p box.....

And assuming they clear the track of the two foot of snow ;)

Your best bet on here will be Danny @ APT. He'll be back online tomorrow and as they have the RL driftbox he may know the answers (most of APT lap time cockery is done via MOTEC now, but it's worth an ask

PS-joking about the snow :spam:

Ha, you may be joking but when I looked last weekl there was light snow forecast at snett on thurs!!

Cool, hopefully Danny will know, otherwise I'll have to work it out, cant be beyond me.

I ought to do something about using the logging on my ecu, but as i don't compete it's never really been a priority. Plus I can't be arsed to mess about with stuff like that, nor the Racelogic clearly.. :headhack:

We've got a driftbox, but I've never had to use it, so Gary (or maybe Logan?) would be a better bet.

Just had a look at their site myself, and it seems it's all in one zip file which you open, then pick the country, then the track. Both the Snett 200 and 300 are on the list from what I can see?-

There's no need to download files anymore, at least, I haven't for quite some time. I think it was ever since changing to Circuit Tools rather than using the older PerformanceBox Tools.

Oh, that's assuming you are looking at lap times on your PC rather than at the track, although, setting the start/finish line when on track is simple enough - click the arrow button.

yeah I was hoping to get the circuit on the memory card and just go and collect lap times. Haven't ever upgraded firmware or sw on my 'box so praps I should, and download the circuit tools too. It's the way I did it when i first bought the PB but it's so long since i bothered I cant' remember how to do it. I just remember that hitting the button for s/f line at the circuit was a pain in the arse and i never once bothered downloading the data so was hoping it may make me use it more if I have the circuit on there already, then look at it on the laptop. It may all be wishful thinking of course when the gtr drops a bollock first time out for the year.....

I know they say 'a pessimist is an informed optimist' but come on chief, positive mental attitude and all that........I'm sure the old girl will make it to the second lap before shitting herself :D
[img] Q. If you were stranded on a desert island, who would you rather be stranded with....Ray Mears or Bear Grylls?

A. No question....Ray Mears....you could make a shit load more stew out of that tubby little fecker [/img]
