Model Cars

Post by Monster »

Mate of mine (previous owners of stu's short lived passion known as "pinky") has a bit of a model car building hobby - I've told him his time would be better spent caning his impreza on track but each to their own!!

Anyway, I reckon they're pretty cool so thought I'd share some pics of his latest, not finished car. He's done some exact replicas of various of my modified "rides" and I'm sure would be up for doing one for someone else if they wanted it, probably too late for xmas now though.

Either way, I reckon they're cool.

Dom clearly has too much time, and you really shouldn't have sold a yellow type R mate. That is epic

Has he done a white Zed that is always broken too? :D

yeah that's what I always tell him...

Alas the yellow type R isn't one of mine, it's one he's jsut finishing and he sent me the pics. Reminded me of "old yella" and thought this stuff might be of interest to people on here, hence the the post.

Strangely he couldn't replicate all the problems..... :biggrinjester: ....saying that, he's doing an R32 for me and that things had more probs than the zed ever did

Did he get his Hawkeye wagon in the end (the car cover in the first pic reminded me........either that or he has a weather balloon crashed in his garden :D )

yep, he got n 04 wrx hawkeye wagon in metallic black. been pleased with it and resisted mods other than a (quiet in order not to make the dog sick like the nur spec) zorst and a few bits like that.

Probably is a weather balloon in the pic though, as evidenced by pinkys paint, dom is not known for his paint protection.....

Now that is something that I really would like to have, a model replica of our car:). I doubt however that you could get a mk1 sierra xr4x4.

That impreza really is awesome:thumbs:

That's an AutoArt 1:18 scale Impreza. I have that exact model (minus all the mods) in the loft. ;)
