Forum whip-round September 2012

:grouphug:
Chaps, ladies, gentlemen............

I know it has been discussed a few times in recent months so this request may not come as a surprise. We formally stopped charging membership and traders fees quite a while ago. This was a decision that Ben and I made to try and show good will to the forum users, club members and traders as many were feeling the pinch.

As time has gone on, the club has still faced the running costs linked with forums and been relying on an old account balance to keep things ticking over. That particular well is running dry! So, with cap in hand, I ask you the people that make the club what it is, to help us out. If you have taken decent advice or guidance from the site, feel free to show your appreciation. If you have sold any bits on here or bought yourself a bargain, share the love! If you've saved money on insurance or a deal from one of our traders please, tip the waiter :D

If you can donate it would help to secure the future of the club. All payments can be made via paypal using Ben's account (murano3@yahoo.co.uk) and please mark this as a donation and remember to send it as a gift  If you would prefer good old cash or another means, please contact Ben via PM to make your arrangements.

A couple of people I spoke to yesterday were happy to chip in, and as the advert says, "Every little helps" :).

Thanks guys.

Sounds very fair to me, there's only so long that a club can run on good will and generosity. A donation will hit Ben's account this Friday.

Well said stu, yep we need some pennies to fund the servers and keep BP running.

It does feel like the forum scene in general has slowly started to turn around, there does seem to be a bit more activity on here now too ...

Had a couple of discussions about this with Stu. Just sent a few quid through to help.
