classic ford santa pod

Post by Bart »

classic ford yesterday at santa pod was the hottest day i have ever felt there.
it must of got over 30 degress as it was so hot we were hidding in a transit van to keep out the sun:D
the show was massive this year, more cars than i had seen before.
the strip action was stop start all day as there was a fair few cars dropping oil or coolent onto the track and to be honest im not supprised as the que was past the finish line together with the heat and it was the same when we left sore a few cars at the side that hat over heated and having there bonnets up.

here are some pics

Nice pics. Some lovely old Fords there :coolgleamA:
Think my favourite has got to be that white and blue wide arch mk2 Escort.

Thanks Bart!!
If you figure what it would have cost to get my Pinto up to 150bhp, let alone the 2.4 long block like that one......
Some smashing cars, love the RS500 and the green two door Cortina especially.
