Plasti Dip?

Post by Rob S »

I was shown this earlier by Chris, and it's really got me thinking about potential applications......all reversible, cheap and seemingly DIYable.

Looks like a nice finish. Interesting.

The only thing is that if it's a new invention, how can they say that they have seen stuff 'dipped' twelve years ago that is still minty?

It can be brushed on if mixed with their thinners so I see no reason why you can't roller it on Stu :D

I'm going to get some tins to try.
I've emailed them on behalf of the club regards a groupbuy discount, I'm sure there could be loads of applications from cheap wrap style finishes, to refreshes and stone chipping, to even a quick temporary coverings for exposed panels pre-trackdays etc.
As soon as I hear from them I'll update this thread.

To make the approach meaningful, could I ask for interested parties to add their names and if possible, any other details they think they might want?
