Custom chassis modifications

Post by vRSy »

Evening

My car is still relatively new after only being released around a year ago. So the tuning market is still in its infancy.

Essentially the only chassis options i have available are coilovers and a rear anti roll bar, of which the otpions i want arent yet on the market, so im waiting until they are released.

However, another issue with these cars are the engine/gearbox mounts are alarmingly soft. The front axle is only adjustable for toe, so i cant adjust camber etc.

Im looking for someone to develop engine/gearbox mounts, adjustable and lighter lower control arm(wishbones) and or adjustable top mounts.

Ideally id like top mounts that an adjust the castor, and lower control arms for more negative camber.

How deep are your pockets would be my first question. R&D with things like lighter control arms and going through drawing up the underside, sourcing/specifying components which will most likely have to be bespoke items will cost a fair bit in design and construction. IMO best to just wait until large companies start looking at making components.

I read this over Christmas and couldn't think of anything helpful to add mate. If you really want to chase this, why not talk to some of the rally teams that are using the same model and see what they are able to fabricate for you.

Good luck
