New trader- Sky Insurance!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post by Stuart »

Recently agreed to get Sky Insurance on board to provide you guys with cracking service and prices for your modified cars. Import or UK spec, if it's tuned or tweaked, boosted or braced Sky Insurance should be your first call at insurance time :)

I won't go into details on my personal experience but suffice to say that the expertise and knowledge they had on mods, cars and tuning gave me confidence to go with them over several arguably bigger names. Add to that their common sense approach to continual car development, blinding customer service (they actually call back when they say they will and answer emails!!) and best of all, really good prices........I fail to see a better option in the performance and modified car market at the moment.

They are well known and supported on many big forums (MKIVSupra.net, Driftworks etc) and have a great reputation on these and many more

The deal? Up to 20% off their regular premiums for BP Members and they can place just about any risk. The specialise in high powered, seriously tuned cars so we should plenty of suitable cars to get them to quote on.

Ollie from Sky Insurance will pop in from time to time to answer PM's, emails and queries. If you fancy a quote call or email them as follows

Sky Insurance (Enfield)
0870 112 1759

Sky Insurance (Potters Bar)
0870 145 3399
info@skyinsurance.co.uk

Mon-Fri 9-6
Sat 9-1pm

Emails can take 48hours to respond to due to the sheer weight of traffic, so if you want a quote call them for a straight answer and tell them BigPower sent you!

I can confirm Sky are pretty good I was with them when I was in Supra MK1V owners club they were always competative....The only thing I found was that like many companies who insure modified cars they suddenly introduced a minimum fee policy ! I had never heard of it before.....but basically the minimum price I could get for insurance when I changed to my RX7 was about

Just about every insurer has minimum premiums; including your employer ;)

Sky have recently quoted me on another modified car and got the premium down to

Supra insured through sky with a BP discount, they were the cheapest I could find. Really good to deal with as always

I wish I had been so lucky ! I spoke to Sky and sadly they couldn't even come close to what I have been quoted by another company and to be fair to them they tried evrything to tweak the details to make the offer more attractive.....Shame really as I have used them in the past...
