antivirus/ spyware stuff

Post by Tk »

im back on the laptop , iv been hit with a virus 'system tool' but for some reason it blocked my internet aswell
anyway after 2 days iv finally got somewhere and restarted my laptop from an earlier date

what i need now is a spyware programme to erase things i may have lurking

as you can probably tell im not the most gifted in the world of computers and have amazed myself iv managed to get it working again

so techy people what do i download, any free spyware jobbies out there to clean my computer up, im reluctant to buy anything online and use my card details incase i have something nasty waiting to pick up on them

, my norton 360 recently run out and i hav'nt renewed so i know its all my own fault :D

Right - download microsoft security essentials - it will tell you how to remove the current antivirus and sort your machine out - it's a freebie so no more charges.

I use Windows defender, AVG antivirus and Spybot search and destroy. There all free and I've never had a problem unlike when I used to pay for Norton which was supposed to do everything.
