Removing oil from carpets
The previous owner as allowed the boot carpet to become pretty well soaked in diff oil. Not good. Does anyone know of a decent way of cleaning the oil out? Preferably something that doesn't stink the car out, thank you please

How about some watered down Gunk?
It's going to take lots of hot water and a detergent to break down the chemicals. Could it be worth giving a friendly valeter a shout? (did nt the go faster boys have a look at this sort of thing?)
If you can't get the carpet warm enough for long enough, the oil will settle on the next section.
I can say this after owning shit cars with oil leaks for 20+ years
I'd happily try and locate a 2nd hand one for you mate, what colour is it?
