Harrow Car Club Awards Dinner

Post by warboys »

The HCC Awards Dnner is NEXT SATURDAY, 27th March, I hope a number of you are attending, especially those that are due to collect or return Trophies.

This years dinner will be slightly less formal in that we don't have a speaker booked although both Dave Brodie of BBR and Andy Dawson (last years speaker) are attending and have offered to tll more tales.

If you woul lik to attend and have yet to let the organisers know, please email Keith Warner at: mrkwarner@hotmail.com

Hoe to see some of you there.

Sorry if this is in the wrong part of the Forum, not sure if it should go in the Sprinting section.

I've already told Keith I can't make it I'm afraid....impending fatherhood means staying not too far from home!

Can't do this one either although I'd love to hear Dave Brodie reminisce. He was one of my heros in the black Escort. I used to go and watch the saloon car racing at Silverstone but that was in the days when entry to the F1 qualifying cost

Guys, your trophies will be brought to North Weald on 25th April, assuming you are entering. If not, let me know and I can get them to you by other means.

The Paul Fowler trophy is the best looking pot in my opinion, and its got my name on it too :-)

Gerry apparantly you had the second highest number of entries into events as a Harrow Member that were organised by other clubs. Logan had entered more or scored more points.

Either way, if neither of you are going to be at North Weald on 25th April, I am happy to drop them to Gerry in Bedford as thats not far for me.
