Silverstone Confirmed For British GP

Post by Safety_James »

Thank goodness for that...........:D - Even though its on the same day as the world cup final next year :D , but the 2010 calender will be released on Wednesday so maybe they will think to change that.

17 year deal too with some re-development plans as well!

Great news. Wouldn't have been the same without the British GP. I can assure you I will be watching the F1 and not the football. :)

The new track layout looks quite good, it cuts back infield and give the drivers a chance to use the long straight from the national circuit, which provides more overtaking oportunity than bridge and the following slow complex ever did.

Its the "Arena" circuit dodging bridge so the MotoGP guys dont go face to armco.

What the hell is going to happen to Donnington now though? No F1, no MotoGP ... erk... I hope Dr P steps in and buys it up.
