Toyota pulls out of f1

Post by mikeb »

Toyota have pulled of f1 with immediate effect but say they will still be on the grid for 2010 with a reduced budget as they have signed the concord agreement to 2012. Dont know if that means they have been bought out or not ? mike

No info so far, the reports keep saying this gives the old BMW team a chance to get back in, but why does it? As you say toyota pulling out dosnt mean the team just vanishes. Hope for the sake of all those jobs something can get sorted, like Honda->Brawn.

There will be plenty more changes happening over the next few months from all aspects of the championship. Next year is going to be quite interesting. Im taking everything lightly untill there are proper FIA release statements regarding everything.

Example of the current changing news reports released this morning: Renault contemplating leaving the championship today: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsp ... 343221.stm
