graphic design your input

Post by Bart »

right i have been putting some designs together for our new race car that we will be building next year and as what we think may look the dog balls other people may think real crap and not take much notice.
now we have been the butt end of peoples jokes for a while with the way we have gone about doing our car and just want to shove it in there face (its an ego thing for me:ack2:) and make them take step back and go wow.
also in mind this will be our time attack car and want to give it a racers look so we look the part as well.
in some the pics the design has a evo tipe bonnet this will not be the case as we desided to fit a sapphire cosworth bonnet instead.
all comments are very much welcome positive or negative and to have other peoples views is invaluable.

Number two for me also. Whether people think you're designing something fantastic or make a pigs ear of it, I would urge you to have the confidence of doing things your own way. Part of the fun of changing your car designs is the creation and turning your vision into a reality. I admire the way in which you approach your car and your participation into any and all competition. You cut your cloth accordingly with the amount you want to spend and when all is said and done, you're still out there doing it when so many others (including a good few piss takers I bet) are standing around paying money to watch people like you.

Will you be getting this painted in your design or painted in a base colour and then the rest in vinyl?

Stu, at the moment the plan is to use the base colour of the new car and then the rest will be done in vinyl. Last year Wayne (Alan's brother) had found a guy who owns a graphic company who was interested in doing a deal to graphic the car, so we may look into that for next year.
